Classic American Burger

Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef;
- 4 hamburger buns;
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese;
- 4 leaves of lettuce;
- 4 slices of tomato;
- 4 slices of onion;
- Salt and pepper to taste;
- Ketchup and mustard (optional).
Instructions:
- Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form four patties.
- Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.
- Toast the hamburger buns.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty with cheese on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a slice of onion.
- Add ketchup and mustard (optional) and cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately.

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.

- Bake for 3 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
- Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and the ribs are golden brown.

Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:
- 500g elbow macaroni;
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter;
- 4 tablespoons flour;

- 1 teaspoon onion powder;
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard;
- Salt and pepper to taste:

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, you have to melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and whisk until smooth.
- Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and Dijon mustard and whisk until combined.
- Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the sauce and stir to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs (optional).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.

- 1 red bell pepper, chopped;
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped;
- 2 tablespoons chili powder;
- 1 teaspoon cumin;
- 1 teaspoon paprika;
- Salt and pepper to taste;
- Shredded cheddar cheese (optional).
Instructions:
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice), kidney beans, chopped bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, and paprika.
- Cover and cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded cheddar cheese (optional).

Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons butter, diced;
- 1 egg, beaten;
- Powdered sugar (optional).
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Pour the apple mixture into the pie dish and dot with diced butter.
- Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and cut it into thin strips.
- Arrange the strips on top of the apple filling to create a lattice pattern.
- Trim the edges of the pastry and crimp the edges to seal.
- Apply the beaten egg onto the surface of the pastry using a brush.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pastry is getting golden brown and crisp.
- Serve hot or cold, dusted with powdered sugar (optional).
