Bring the Heat with These Spicy Beef Skewers with Roasted Peppers!

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef for skewers, cubed (cut the meat into 2.5cm cubes);
  • 2 peppers (red, yellow, and green);
  • Salt and pepper to taste;
  • Olive oil (about 2 tablespoons);
  • Fresh rosemary, chopped (about 1 teaspoon);
  • Metal or wooden skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes before using).

Instructions:

  1. Cut the peppers in half, remove the seeds, and cut them into large pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Reserve.
  2. Assemble the skewers by alternating the beef cubes with the pepper pieces. If using metal skewers, put 4 to 5 pieces of meat and pepper on each skewer. If using wooden skewers, put less on each skewer so they are not too heavy.
  3. Heat a grill or pan and place the skewers on it to cook. Cook for about 8 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown on all sides and cooked to your desired level of doneness. If desired, you can also bake the skewers in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes, turning once halfway through the cooking time.
  4. Serve the skewers with the roasted peppers and sprinkled with fresh rosemary.
